Marijana Mandić

Marijana Mandić is currently a research and teaching assistant at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek. In 2025, she completed postgraduate studies in Literature and Cultural Identity and successfully defended her PhD thesis on the topic “Urban crisis and crisis of civic consciousness in contemporary Croatian and German-speaking prose”. She conducts her research in the humanities within the research field of philology, and her area of expertise is literary theory and history of literature. Her current research topics cover comparative literature, with special emphasis on German, and Croatian contemporary fiction and drama.
