Iris Spajić

Iris Spajić is currently a senior assistant at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek. She completed her postgraduate studies in Literature and Cultural Identity and defended her doctoral dissertation on the topic “The Crisis of the Family in German, Croatian, and English Drama in the First Quarter of the 21st Century.” She conducts her research in the humanities within the research field of philology, and her area of expertise is literary theory and history of literature. Her current research topics cover comparative literature, with special emphasis on English, German, and Croatian contemporary fiction and drama. Apart from that, she does research in the field of literary translation.
